Faerie Tale Theatre On Youtube
Does anyone on my friends list remember a show called Faerie Tale Theatre--a series that was hosted by Shelley Duvall? I just found quite a few episodes uploaded to Youtube if anyone wants to see. You can see them--divided into chunks--here.
There are five pages worth of uploads of the show. The only episode I can actually remember (I watched these when I was 2 or 3) is Rapunzel. According to the IMDB message boards, there was a whole lot of innuendo that kids probably never picked up on.
For anyone who hasn’t heard of the show, the IMDB page for it is here.
ETA: I also just found the preview shown at the beginning of every tape of Faerie Tale Theatre--uploaded by a different person. You can watch it here. Apparently, Christopher Lee was in one episode. In another (Sleeping Beauty) Christopher Reeve was the Prince and Sleeping Beauty was Bernadette Peters.

I vaguely remembered the prince in Rapunzel getting his eyes gouged out--I was right, but the blood was a pitiful special effect.
I also just found the preview aired at the beginning of the Faerie Tale tapes, and edited my post with that.

I was, unfortunately, much older than 2.no subject
Oy. I was definitely older than 2 as well. I feel old now, how 'bout you?I loved that show!no subject
Old? Me? No way. Just ignore the sagging... hair and wrinkles and creaking joints. What about this whole Transformers renaissance? Weird, man!Fairy tales retold are always a good thing.
Um... unless they're a stupid modernized remake movie.
