Help Remembering A Show
I’m trying to find out the name of a show that probably aired somewhere around the time period of 1995-1997. I don’t know how long it lasted, but it probably wasn’t that long judging by how often the reruns would start all over again. I saw reruns of it on USA Network around that time period. And it was either before or after Ned and Stacey--which was also being rerun around the same time. Wings was likely also airing during that time period of the day.
All I can remember is the show was a comedy, and aired sometime around 9 or 10 AM on weekday mornings, in reruns. I think it was set in New York, but I could be wrong about that. Most of the action took place in what looked like a run down apartment complex, and there were at least five people there.
I checked Wikipedia, and I can’t really find a list of the sitcoms that were reruns that the USA Network has aired.
If nobody on my friends list knows, I’ll ask the people at
whatwasthatone--I just wanted to try here first.
On a non tv show search note: Over on Youtube, I found an animated version of The Tell Tale Heart, and realized that this 7 minute movie is what everyone in my grade ended up watching in 7th or 8th grade in English class. And, apparently, when it was first released in 1953 it was rated X in the UK. Not sure of the rating in the U.S., but you can watch it here.
ETA: The show I was looking for turned out to be a very obscure sitcom called Fired Up.

There is a list of shows that took place in New York (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Television_shows_set_in_New_York) on Wikipedia. The top list on that page breaks them down by years they aired.

I keep coming up blank with that description... I mean, that seems like the description of about every sitcom in the 90's. x_x and the number of sitcoms that USA rerun isn't really a large one in my head. I can't remember anything but Wings.
I want to say 2 Guys and a Girl, just because its a cast of five people that spend almost every episode in a crappy apartment, but I have no idea if it was ever on USA.

It might help to have more setting/plot info.

and the characters names are Pete, Berg, Sharon, Johnny, Irene and Ashley... Ashley didn't show up till season 3, I don't think.

And I think Two Guys And A Girl only aired on ABC--I occasionally watched it. To my knowledge, it was never on USA Network.

The scary part is I managed to find a site that does that for the Sci-Fi Channel, beginning in 1994. Everything there ever was, up until now, I believe.

Back when the Sci-Fi Channel first started, they didn't have nearly as many awful tv movies. They had a tendency to show older science fiction and horror movies.
It's their fault I got hooked on the 60's Dark Shadows, by the way. Heh.

I'm sure there are people who do keep all their TV Guides. >_> crazy, crazy people who do nothing but sit at home and stare at their TV's.

I went to Archive.org, and went through the schedule for the network. I should have thought of that earlier.
For a little while, based on the descriptions, I thought it might have been Boston Common or Hearts Afire, but it wasn't. All of those shows aired in the same early morning range, though.
I just need to find something from all of those shows on Youtube to be 100% positive.
