Ficathons

A few people on my friends list have been celebrating the number of years they have been on LJ. Out of curiosity, I checked my user info page. On the 10th of next month, I will have been on LJ for 4 years.

In ficathon related news, I’ve been writing the outline for my spook_me ficathon story. I’ll probably start writing over the weekend. It’s Doctor Who, set probably during season 4, since Donna is the companion--and the prompt will be a ghost since you’re allowed to change it. Since I couldn’t think of a way to bring in a cyborg for the setting, I made it that. Didn’t want to bring in a Cyberman or Dalek, since it wouldn’t have worked.

And since I'll be writing something with Donna in it, I just realized that I need to find an icon that somehow involves her. I'll start hunting for one later.

I also just received my assignment for hlh_shortcuts. I won’t say what it is, since that’s not allowed--but it seems like a good one. And I think I have a partial idea for it so far.

Dude, I just checked my own stats, on merfilly...whoa. 3 years as of the first next month, and closing in on 2000 entries. Which...would be closer, but some things I have deleted.

Yeah, my first post was probably a few months after I first created this journal. I know I've deleted a few things, too, since back then I apparently didn't know how to use an LJ cut.
