Greatestjournal Issues

For those of you that use Greatestjoural, but haven’t been over there in the last few days, I just thought I would let you know about something. They are actually encouraging people to leave and head over to Insanejournal, because the servers are slowing. Apparently, due to the influx of people joining when Livejournal has problems.

Nobody knows if they'll be shutting down entirely or not. If I understand it correctly, they aren’t allowing people to register new journals either. Here’s the news post.

Thanks for the heads up. Interesting. Glad I'm not too attached to GJ. Despite my hatred of all things LJ-business, I would be devastated if LJ went down. :(

Squeaky, the owner over in IJ, mention in announcements that he'd talk to the person running GJ about the technical problems. I don't think GJ shut down, just give the guys some time to deal with the influx and hopefully things will even out. :)
