Okay, this is a huge shock. Mom just informed me that Heath Ledger was found dead of a drug overdose. It's all over Fox News--I don't know if there are any articles online about it yet.

My response on hearing the news? "WHAT?!"

May he rest in peace.

The only movie of his that I ever watched was The Brothers Grimm--and that was just so I would know who he was, after they cast him as the Joker.

He seemed like one of the good ones.

I know, I'm still in fucking shock. I mean if I made a list of all the famous people I can think of, in order of most likely to have found dead in a hotel room, Heath would have been somewhere near the absolute bottom. And this is someone I'd always liked and even admired a bit, I mean 10 Thing I Hate About You has always been one of my fave movies, on of my "feel good" pick-me-up movies, and I don't know if I'll ever be able to watch it the same way again and.... it just doesn't fucking make sense.
