More Branches Falling...
About 10 minutes ago, a few branches came crashing down next to my room, barely missing our neighbor, as he walked around checking things out. Dad left to take pictures of that. (For insurance, so we have proof.)
Mom went out into the garage soon after, just to check the temperature. Just as she looked out the garage door, another giant chunk came crashing from the tree after there was a giant cracking sound--the same tree that I posted pictures of earlier.
Apparently, for a scary minute Mom thought it fell on Dad. She eventually spotted him on the other side of the fence, and he's fine. Taking pictures of it all.
In related news, the lights continue to flicker every few minutes, so it's just a matter of time before the power goes out.
ETA: Okay, Dad says if I happen to hear any cracking sounds (louder than usual) to get out of my room, since the tree seems to keep dropping branches and you just never know. Besides, it's getting really windy and it might do it in.
