Branch In Mid-Fall

It’s currently starting to snow now. Before we noticed that, though, Dad discovered one of the pictures he took was right as the branch started to break off, as it hung in mid-air. In this first picture, it’s right after another branch fell near my room. The second picture is the one where Mom thought it hit Dad, but it didn’t. He just happened to be standing in the perfect spot to get a picture of it as it came down, and you can see the ice spraying off if you look closely.

The news says that if you haven't already lost power, it's likely people will lose it tonight.

*hugs* I kinda know what you're going - we just had a huge ice storm in December with the whole town out of power. We were fortunate and only lost power for four days.

Being without power in the middle of an ice storm is a very scary place to be. I just hope yours is handled better than ours was.
