Blog about...sex!

I currently have a bit of a headache, so let me know if anything doesn't make sense regarding wording.

My opinion about sex would have to be that it is something that I, personally, have decided I will wait until marriage to have, if at all. If I'm ever dating a guy and he didn't respect that about me, he would be gone. There are just too many consequences, and I would rather not get syphillis (just the first messy thing that came to mind) just because he slept around, thank you very much.

There was someone on my friends list that got into a bit of a brouhaha when someone (I think I remember everyone involved, but for the sake of not bringing the whole mess back to her doorstep again, I'm not naming names) went after them, just because they stated that they would remain a virgin. Once it was over, I believe they jokingly stated they were going to become a Professional Virgin. I respect that and the fact she stuck by her principles, plus the icon is funny.

Regarding sex in my fanfic, I try to go to a fade to black most of the time. I don't think I could write every single detail of it since I'm not good at smut, and sometimes it's best left to the imagination.

It amuses me that when I subtract the movies that I've seen because my brother came into the room, the number goes from 22 to 5.

Blog about… one technological advance you'd like to see, and one that you really, really wouldn't. Catch: Both should be real possibilities.

Amusingly, this one is actually tougher for me than the sex question from stormkpr. Mostly because I really don't know what may or may not have already been invented in the last few months, as I don't really keep track of that sort of thing.

Regarding ones I wouldn't want to see: probably one that plugs your brain straight into the computer, so you could download things with a thought. Information overload and/or Borg creation would be inevitable. And that one is more likely than you'd think, since I saw someone trying to figure out a way to get a plug type of thing to interface with the human brain on How William Shatner Changed The World, on The History Channel.

The Borg were his inspiration...

Something I would want to see--something like the Doctor's sonic screwdriver. I doubt it would be a real possibility, but I can't think of anything else right now.

Point, click, and open anything you want. Great for the days when you've lost the garage door opener or want to lock your car and can't find your keys right then, or want to scan someone to find out if they're ill. The latter option would only be for actual doctors, though.

I've seen 62. Then I took out movies I watched due to other people -- family holiday movies, friend's birthday party, my brothers' turns to pick movies -- and was left with 37.
