Link Round-Up--The Strange, And The Random
About the previous post’s blogging meme: I’ve seen people answer in comments to that post, and others answer in new posts. I’ve opted to answer the comments in the post itself, so if you want to see the answers you can find them (eventually--you should get the answers tomorrow) in the comments here.
Also, in Livejournal news, it seems that as of yesterday (without warning) Livejournal no longer allows people to create ad-free (Basic) accounts. Accounts created prior to March 12, 2008 will continue to have the option to remain Basic from what I understand, but anyone who created a journal after that date will have to go to Plus or pay for their account. However, you can still create communities in Basic.fandom_me has links to how you can get around the ads. Also, hils linked to a post by supergee--she makes a good point about free accounts, even if everyone should have been given notice.

And on a lighter note, here’s another meme--taken from Legendarcy over on IJ. I love the idea of this meme, since it looks like fun.
The PB ME Meme!
It doesn't matter if you know what I look like or if you don't, but if you don't you can just base whoever you decide to PB me with on my personality, I don't care.
But this is how it goes:
1) You link me to icons (or a picture) of the PB
2) You tell me why you chose that person
3) You tell me what fictional character you'd use me for (it can be a canon multi-fandom character -- i.e. Hermione Granger or Sally-Anne Perks, Storm from X-Men, Princess Leia from Star Wars, etc. --, or an original...)
4) I will do the same for you if you repost this meme in YOUR JOURNAL!
On the stranger side of things? Woman spends 2 years sitting on her boyfriend’s toilet. Thanks toyendi for that link.
I also considered asking my friends list for a Doctor Who related icon with my username (I’ve seen a few new ones floating around that other people got) on it, but I’ll probably just stick with the one with Tara and my username.
