RPG Character Meme
This meme seems to be going around my friends list again lately, so I thought I thought I might as well do it again, too. It’s interesting to me, at least.
5 Characters I'd Like To Play If I Ever Got the Chance To (couldn’t narrow it down to five)
-Sharon Smith/Catseye. This one will probably eventually happen, (either at X-Journal or elsewhere) once the whole computer mess is straightened out. If I played her in a game going with comics canon rather than movie canon, I would have quite a bit of room to improve on her just because she was never used enough in the comics. There was a lot of potential there.
-Marie-Ange Colbert/Tarot. Same as with Catseye, I don’t think she ever really got much of a chance in the comics. I liked her, and think she would be interesting to try.
-Clarice Ferguson/Blink. I might be in the minority, but I loved the version of her that died defeating the Phalanx--I always wanted to flesh her out a bit. I was just never that big of a fan of the Age of Apocalypse, even if that Blink was a warrior.
-Rachel Summers. However, there are quite a few disadvantages to that idea, which you can read in the next section.
-Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat. I would like to try to play her someday, although she's more in the middle. I love the character, but I'm not sure if I could do her justice.
-Megan Gwynn/Pixie. This is more of a maybe, but I do like the character.
-Donna Noble. I briefly considered bringing her over to Whoville, to smack a Doctor or two around. However, I’m content to just watch the mayhem over there from the sidelines. I feel like she’s one of the best companions of the New Series of Doctor Who.
The Tenth Doctor. This is somewhere in the middle, as I’m not sure if I would actually be crazy enough to try him. I do know I seem to have gotten his babbling down relatively well, based on when I wrote fanfic with him.

-Jean Grey, and the rest of the Summers/Grey Clan. I’ve never really thought Jean was that interesting, so I couldn’t possibly play her well. I haven’t liked her since the 80’s, and with the number of times that woman has died, it’s become a joke.
The only member of the Summers family I’ve liked was Rachel Summers, and that was back in the pre- and during Excalibur days. She’s someone completely different now from what I’ve seen, and with that woman’s messed up past, present and future, my brain would explode just trying to write up her bio—never mind figuring out a way for her to work in a movieverse setting. I could probably do it (and it would be worth it) if I reworked a lot of her life, though.
-Jubilee. I never really cared about her that much, and I’ve really only read a few issues of Generation X. I only know a tiny amount about her thanks to![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
scans_daily, and I think the only time I liked anything that involved her was when she followed the women X-Men from a mall in California to their hideout in Australia, via Gateway’s portal.
-Emma Frost. I don’t hate her, but I also don’t love her. I don’t think I could do her justice.
-Elizabeth Braddock. I haven’t liked her character since the body switch/complete personality change.
-Rogue. I wish there was a section for not sure, because I would stick her there. There’s too much angst and potential for brooding about her powers, and I never liked her in the movieverse. However, if done right she can be a good character--I think I’ll simply leave that up to better players than me.
-Rose Tyler. As I don’t really like the character that much, I wouldn’t dare try to play her.
-Martha Jones. I love her, but I don’t know if I could possibly do her justice. Besides, I know next to nothing on the medical side of things, and that might be needed. I'll probably just stick to fanfic with her.

-Illyana Rasputin/Magik. I loved playing her, and hope to do so again someday. She’s just always been one of my favorite characters.
-Rahne Sinclair/Wolfsbane. I had a fantastic time playing her at Xtended, back when that was over on Greatestjournal. Working on that character was fun.
