The Blood Doctor, And Batman News
I just got back from my blood doctor's appointment, and my iron level is 13. That's great news, so it confirms for him that it was just the ulcer causing my blood loss, and nothing else.
I don't need to get any iron by IV, but we'll continue to keep an eye on things. My next doctor appointment is with my regular doctor (won't she be horrified by everything--she was out of town when everything happened) on the 22nd, I think.
Also, according to the nurse that took my blood, my left arm looks like nobody ever stuck an IV in it. That arm healed insanely fast.
Going by the fact that I was in by (actually before, since I had to update my information from 5 years ago) 10, and out by 10:15, Dad rushed around changing tickets for nothing the other day. I could have made it to the 11:30 showing more than likely.
This means that I can go see The Dark Knight this afternoon at 1:40, rather than rescheduling again.
In Dark Knight related news, the morning local news showed the theatre where I'll be heading to--for the midnight showing, there was a line of people that stretched for 3 blocks. There was also a man dressed as The Joker, carrying a fake gun. They showed a guy dressed as Batman--he was overweight, and word has it he eventually found that guy dressed as the Joker, and they wrestled on the ground for a while.
They also found at least two girls sobbing--they were rabid Heath Ledger fans, and just had to see his last movie. Mom now understands why I wanted tickets early--because it would have been sold out otherwise.

At least when I went to the hospital with the giant ulcer it was only down to 6 from the blood loss. Since it's 13 (it had made it back up to 11 by the time I left the hospital, but I was off the iron for now) now--so quickly--that confirmed that my anemia is still under control, and it was just the bleeding ulcer that did everything, and not something else.
