The Hospital Bill Arrives, And More...

A few minutes ago, I finally got the grand total for the hospital bill. Going by the fact that I was expecting it to be around $100,000, it’s not nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

The grand total for everything in the hospital was $24,338.95. Once my insurance got through it with it, they said that I only owe $1,535.16 out of all that.

In related health news, tomorrow (on July 22nd) I head to my regular doctor for a check-up, and traumatize her with everything that happened. After that, my next doctor related appointment is August 22nd, for the final endoscopy.

In other news, I was going through images of Renee O’Connor from her Xena days, and discovered this one. With all that fire around her, and the toga and furious look, it makes her look like she would be a good PB for Magma. (She’s blonde, so it definitely wouldn’t be Phoenix.) I also have to wonder what episode of Xena that was, since I don’t really recognize it.

And speaking of PB’s, the winner of the Nocturne poll was Caroline Dhavernas, with 6 votes. Tina Majorino came in second with 3 votes, and Felicia Day had 1 vote. Thanks go out to everyone who voted.

Health care costs are out of this world. Lucky insurance pays as much as it does. Hope everything is all fixed up now.

I am happy that things are much better. But before I saw the huge bill then I saw you were paying... Well, that's luck and good fortune for you. I don't seem to understand how this country with a great number of its citizens are either and I'm including myself are under-insured or not insured at all that spending billions of dollars on stuff... there are better terms I'm sure... Sorry I am starting to rant. :) I am happy that you're fine.
