Interview Meme

These first two got buried under some other Livejournal comment notifications, so please forgive the lateness of my replies.
1. If you had to evacuate your home for a natural disaster, and you could only take as much of your "life" that would fit in your car, what would you make sure to pack?
Probably a few of my Doctor Who novels, a few Dracula novels, and my Real Ghostbusters DVD’s that I bought from Ebay a while back. If I could, I would drag those bookshelves out the door with me.
2. Pick your 3 favorite fandoms. Who is the character in each that you most enjoy writing yourself?
Doctor Who, Highlander, and X-Men.
From Doctor Who: A toss-up between The Doctor and Donna. From Highlander, it would have to be Methos, even if I don’t write in that fandom. Well, except for the fanfic I started, where Methos and Duncan meet the real Vlad Tsepsh—I never finished it, or posted it. And from the X-Men fandom, it’s a toss-up between Rahne Sinclair and Illyana Rasputin, although Meggan is quickly gaining that spot.
3. What one piece of technology could you live without?
An Ipod, since I don’t own one anyway.
4. What do you want to be "when you grow up"? (I had a grad school professor as us this the first day of class last week)
I’ve always wanted to work in a library (and I was a teacher’s aide for the library in 12th grade, for two class periods). The fact that I would need a Master’s degree to do that is a major downside. Due to that, I would be fine as a secretary at a church—it’s quiet enough.
5. What is the most played song on your playlist/ipod?
I don’t have an Ipod, or a playlist. Mom won one from somewhere, once. However, nobody in this family, or any of our neighbors were ever able to get it to work. Or even save a single song to it, so it was thrown out.
1) You list "Arthurian legend" as an interest. Tell me about a couple of your favorite versions thereof, old or new.
Pretty much the only encounters I’ve had with that were the original Arthur story (read in English Literature in college) and a Merlin movie that was on the Sci-Fi Channel back in the 90’s. So I don’t really have a favorite version.
2) What's the single slashiest moment in Sherlock Holmes canon, in your opinion?
It’s been a while since I’ve read the stories. Maybe when Watson was nearly shot, and Holmes said later that he would have killed the person that did it, if Watson was dead. I’m not sure what story that one was.
3) Which Doctor is your favorite, and why?
Currently, it would have to be the Tenth Doctor. The Ninth was my first Doctor, but I just love the Tenth Doctor’s personality. The Eighth Doctor is a close second, followed by the Ninth.
4) If you could only participate in one fandom for the rest of your life, which would you choose?
Only one? Doctor Who. The fanfic alone would last a long time.
5) Your journal has a gorgeous Tara banner. Tell me what you like about her as a character.
I can’t pick just one thing, since I loved her personality. At one point, I even wrote an essay about her foridol_reflection.

2. If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go?
I’m not really the traveling type, but I guess I would say England or Ireland. I’ve always wanted to see Stonehenge, and I love both England and Ireland’s history.
3. What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid?
The 90’s version of The Tomorrow People. Also, Are You Afraid of the Dark, and the rest of the SNICK line-up, back when Nickelodeon was at its finest.
4. What is your dream job?
Working in a library.
