Who remembers when I asked about finding a site for horror movie tv listings? I think I found the site I had been looking for back then—of course, it’s sorted by actor. For example, here’s their listing for upcoming Vincent Price movies. I think they used to have a section, specifically for horror.
I also found a site called Halloween TV. To find a bit of stuff, click on their link that says Tivo. The link seems to be broken, but go to the main page, and type in Halloween. You should find a few things.
The Halloween Forum seems to have a good list of upcoming specials that’s updated every day.
In other news, I went to Oller’s Oddities--or Mill Massacre, or whatever they’re calling it this year. Everyone was very unorganized. Dad and I got there around 6:50--at 7:03, we still didn’t see any lights on. We drove around to the other side, and discovered that the haunted house was back there. But we couldn’t go in yet, because a lot of people who were helping them get things set up were late. They mentioned that they probably needed to set up some sort of strobe light, so people would know to come back there.
We waited until 7:18, and we were the only people there. Eventually, they let us in--for $10, rather than $12, because of our wait--and quite a few things were still unorganized. To sum things up, it was barely 5 minutes going through everything even with the insane strobe lights, and I got sprayed with fake blood (really warm water) four times. Oh, and at the end, a guy is supposed to run up with a chainsaw before you leave--but his chainsaw was broken, so there wasn’t any noise. As he stood there looking confused, and shaking it, we left.
As we left, we heard it finally start working, and the boy shouted, “I got it! I got it! Wait!”
I’m hoping to find a better haunted house in the area before Halloween rolls around.

Ah. Good times!
Good luck with the next haunted house. (P.S. At least the boy "got" it in the end. Maybe he'll remember if you and your Dad go back before Halloween.)

Talon Falls is one that's around here, but from everything I've heard it costs too much. That, and the one time I thought about going, I found out that first, you have to go to the local college, around 8 PM. Park there. Wait a little while, and a bus takes you out to another county. You spend 45 minutes going through the haunted house, and apparently have to figure out your own way back in the dark. I didn't want to do that.
That, and the guy that runs it tried to drive his sister (they're both photographers) out of business by lying and ruining her reputation.
There's a new one I just heard of called Dr. Slasher's Laboratory of Horror that I might try next Friday. All I know about it is that anyone under 13 isn't allowed in, because they might be too traumatized. Heh.

Dr. Slasher's Laboratory of Horror --- sounds divine.
