The New Computer
I am now using the new computer. Now that we've switched, I can see that this one is much faster. Dad joked about needing a seat belt because it was so quick.
Dad got the computer set up last night, and got most of the files needed back in by this morning. As of a few minutes ago, we got everything back in--but we lost everything in Outlook Express.
The good news is that before he did anything, Dad went through and printed out everything. Just in case.
I just now put Veoh back in, so I could watch movies on their site. Doesn't look like I need to add anything so I can watch stuff on Youtube, so that seems fine. Dad just got Microsoft Office, Irfranview, McAfee, Spyware Doctor, and VLC Media Player back in.
In a little while, I'll see if I can get AIM back in. We can't put Black Ice back in, since they're apparently out of business and it can't be put back in once it's taken out.
ETA: Okay, I think AIM's working now. I'll test it in a few minutes. I didn't have to reinstall it. Turns out that it was one of the files that was in my folder when things were transferred, which Dad stuck back on the Desktop.
