Items Of Interest

Over on Io9, they found an old clip (from 1997) from SF Vortex, where they discuss the difference between sci-fi and science fiction. Interesting. If SF Vortex used to air on the Sci-Fi Channel, then I believe I used to watch it. I know I watched Sci-Fi Buzz.

Guillermo Del Toro may be doing a stop motion remake of The Witches.

In other news, tomorrow I’ll start working on that fanfic for the [community profile] doctor_donna ficathon. Oh, and as I have the time, I’m uploading the Doctor Who stories I’ve written in the past to Teaspoon And An Open Mind. Just in case something ever happens to LJ, I’ll be able to find them over there. I had already added Resurrections And Conflagrations a while back.

As much as I love the original, this could SERIOUSLY be made of pure win.

Thank Cthulhu! I was fearing Guillermo would run out of projects after the Hobbit... and ATMOM... and his vampire novels... and Frankenstein... and Jekyll & Hyde... and all that stuff he's producing... and his work as manager for both Doug Jones and Ron Perlman...

Out of joking, I thought The Witches was dead. Glad to see it back on track because Guillermito could make this very very awesome.
