RIP, Eartha Kitt

I've just heard that Eartha Kitt passed away today, at the age of 81, as a result of colon cancer. May she rest in peace.

I checked IMDB, and the only thing I’ve ever seen her in was when she played Catwoman in the 60’s version of Batman. Oh, and presumably Ernest Scared Stupid—but that was so long ago, that I don’t really remember her role in it.

Sadness indeed. A good innings, but a sad loss all the same.

Harold Pinter finally passed on after a long illness today also - yes, mainly known for his plays, but he did have an acting role or two, including one on Classic Who (Ralpachan in "The Abominable Snowmen", under a stage name).
