Some Fannish Items of Interest

Well, it figures. Just as I start to consider downloading The Middleman and giving it a shot, it gets canceled.

Terry Pratchett got knighted.

The final episodes of Pushing Daisies may be shown--but it won’t be on television, if I understand correctly.

In other news, I’m watching the download of Vampirella (I'm about 6 minutes in) as I type this--Roger Daltrey has very fake looking fangs in. He also randomly jumps at people, and has a deeper, growling voice. He seems more like Fitz probably would after a Dark Quickening or two, actually. This movie would have been great on MST3K.

Your icon and the Roger Daltrey talk - plus seeing Adrian Paul on Beauty and the Beast - is making me all nostalgic for Highlander.

80's series. I remember it so clearly because his character dies and I was all "He cannot die! He's immortal!" I was young and dumber.

I'm gonna have to watch Vampirella now, right?

There's a slim hope that The Middleman could return if the DVD sales are good. But even if not -- you should give it a spin. It's delightful fun and the last episode was a satisfying conclusion (even though more more more would be great).

*points upwards* It's not dead, it's just pining for the fjords.
