Dancing With The Stars News

Heroes will get a fourth season. However, the season will be slightly shorter, with 18-20 episodes, rather than the usual number of around 23. NBC also wants them to have a set ending.

And for those interested in Dancing With The Stars, it seems that the infamous Heather Mills Curse has struck again. First, for those that hadn’t heard, Jewel was forced to withdraw from the show due to fractured tibas in both legs. Her replacement was (to my everlasting horror) announced to be Holly Madison. And now, I’ve heard that Nancy O’Dell is withdrawing due to tearing something in her knee. I don’t know who will be replacing her yet.

Someone really needs to do an exorcism of that studio, or something.

ETA: Okay, this is getting insane. Now another contestant on Dancing With The Stars has been struck down. This time, it's Gilles Marini, due to being diagnosed with tendonitis in his left shoulder and groin area. He thinks he might be able to dance despite the pain, but it doesn't sound good. I wonder if there will be any survivors by the time the show actually premieres?

I gave up on Heroes in volume three. I couldn't have been more disappointed with the direction they decided to take the show in. Not making it darker - that could have been amazing - but the way they did it. A show I once adored and I ended up wishing all the characters would be wiped out by an asteroid. :-(

I might give the forth season a go just to see if anything improves. The main thing that made me switch off was how hard the story became to follow...and I watch Lost, so it's not like I can't follow a complex show. But the writing was absolutely appalling in the third season, in my brutally honest opinion.
