I’m still asking for any Briar Rose PB suggestions over in this poll, since I’ll be applying for the character probably at the end of the week, once I’ve posted a lot of the old GJ logs either to Inksome or IJ. I’ve also edited what I’m looking for in the character, and the description can be found over here, and the scenario she’s in (which I mentioned in a poll a while back) is here. Considered Amber Benson for a while, but I wanted to see if anyone had any other suggestions.

Nathan Fillion gave an interesting interview with The AV Club.

Death at a Funeral—the movie with Alan Tudyk that I finally saw for the first time last week—is being remade. Strangely, the remake will star Ron Glass.

Over on Dancing With The Stars, it seems as though they’ll be replacing Nancy O’Dell with someone from the latest season of The Bachelor. Melissa Rycroft. I’ll find out for sure whether or not it's just a rumor when I watch the premiere tonight.

Any celebrity you're rooting for particularly? I'm curious to see how Shawn Johnson and Chuck Wicks will do.

I had never heard of those two until I saw the list of people dancing this season.

I want to see how David Alan Grier does--I only know him as an actor in Jumanji and the host of the short-lived Thank God, You're Here--oh, and Black to the Future on VH1.

Hadn't heard of Belinda Carlisle, Gilles Marini, Lawrence Taylor, or Ty Murray until recently, so I'm not rooting for any of them yet.

I don't like Steve-O or Denise Richards.

ETA: Oh, and since Jewel is gone, I won't be rooting for her. I don't really like her replacement--the girl from the E! show The Girls Next Door.
