RIP, Andy Hallett

I just received word that Andy Hallett--best known as Lorne, from Angel--has passed away today, at the age of 33. He had been in poor health for some time—I already knew about his heart condition, from posts about it a year or so ago. May he rest in peace. He was great as Lorne, and will be sorely missed. E! Online also confirms it, according to a post at whedonesque.

I’m surprised that I don’t have any Lorne icons—closest I have is Numfar’s dance of joy, but I’m not using it for this post.

Oh, crap! That's so shocking. I had no idea he was dealing with heart disease since I try and NOT know too much about the actors I enjoy.

That's a shock. I knew he had health problems but I didn't realise to what extent. I'm sure he's done conventions in the past so this seems really sudden. Poor man.

Wow, that is really shocking. I haven't been keeping up with all the Angel actors so I had no idea he had health problems. This is so, so sad. He was always one of my favorites and seemed like a really nice guy.
