I would call in either Adrian Monk, or Sherlock Holmes.

I just read the Wikipedia summary for the series finale of the US version of Life on Mars. My icon sums it all up. Just...so very, very stupid, and brain breakingly out there. I thought it was an April Fool’s joke at first, but it’s not. The Doctor’s reaction of “...what? What? WHAT?!” does indeed apply here.

Part of me wants to see it, so if someone could direct me to a Youtube clip of that part, I would be grateful.

Last night at 10 EDT on ABC, according to this post at lom_usa: no pointers to a YouTube clip, but it's probably only a matter of time...

Jeremy Brett!Holmes, preferably. I don't like Robert Downey, Jr., so I'm avoiding his Holmes.

Matt Frewer was also Holmes in a few Hallmark Channel movies, but I wouldn't want him on the case.

I think Michael Caine was in Without A Clue. Not sure of the name of the guy in The Seven Per Cent Solution, but it wasn't him. I'll check.

I watched it. I thought it was hilarious. Silly, but hilarious.

but then, I wasn't especially a fan.
