Fannish Items of Interest

Over at Cracked.com, there’s a hysterical article called A Journey To Hell: My Earth Hour Without Electricity. You might die laughing.

The I Love You Meme, which has been slowly spreading across my friends list. Linking to it, since I love my friends list.

From what I understand, Pushing Daisies’ series finale will actually air on ABC, and not on their website—it airs on Saturday, May 30th, at 9 PM CST.

Why David Tennant and Russell T. Davies Are Leaving Doctor Who. It’s actually a very cute and funny interview.

Andy Hallett’s family wants donations toward a scholarship fund in lieu of flowers. You can find more details on that here, and where to send donations if anyone is interested.

In other news, today the temperature got into the high 70’s. Tomorrow? It’s supposed to snow.

RTD I would have loved to have done a Star Trek crossover. The very first year, we talked about it. Then Star Trek finally went off air. Landing the Tardis on board the Enterprise would have been magnificent. Can you imagine what their script department would have wanted, and what I would have wanted? It would have been the biggest battle.

ZOMFG. Is he serious? It would have jossed 99% of my alltime fanfiction output. Which is also about the odds against it having happened, of course, even if approaches had been made and talks had started.

The last three Pushing Daisies episodes will air in the UK starting April 17th, so hopefully they'll be torrentable soon after :)
