Fannish Items of Interest

Yesterday, they showed Snow White: A Tale of Terror on Flix. Loved it, despite a few awful moments.

For those interested, you can watch a promo for Eastwick here. While it looks interesting, it also looks a tiny bit like Desperate Housewives. I've never actually seen the movie, due to the fact that I don't particularly care for movies that have Jack Nicholson or Cher in them.

Gone Too Soon: 14 TV Shows We Want Back. [profile] whedonesque discusses the list here. Of those listed, the only ones I’ve ever seen are Veronica Mars, Firefly, and Angel.

On Dan Ackroyd’s list for Ghostbusters 3—Alyssa Milano and Eliza Dushku, as female Ghostbusters. This is just his wish list, mind you. I don’t think it would be a good idea to have them in the movie—of course, there are a few good ideas in the Io9 comments.

Oh, and for those out there that love a good Doctor Who story with zombies, you’ll love this one. [personal profile] rude_not_ginger wrote wrote Zombie Apocalypse. You can also find it at Teaspoon, over here.

[profile] hearts_in_time has prompts available for their ficathon. You can claim them here.

I liked "Tru Calling". I don't often see it get mentioned anywhere.

I barely remember the Eastwick movie and I hate "Desperate Housewives," but Paul Gross as the devil? The mere thought has me whimpering with lust.

Ha! I love that movie. I even own it.
