RIP, Karl Malden

Karl Malden has passed away today, at the age of 97. I checked IMDB, to see if I had ever seen him in anything—he played the Walrus in the 1985 tv movie version of Alice in Wonderland. He was also the host of a few episodes of Unsolved Mysteries. May he rest in peace.

I remember first seeing him playing a detective in "The Streets of San Francisco", then being surprised when I found he'd been in a number of movie classics, including "A Streetcar Named Desire" and "On the Waterfront". He was actually a very, very good actor.
