Fanfic Update, And A Related Poll

I’ve pretty much finished the Support Stacie fanfic as of now. It’s 5163 words. However, there is one small bit when Martha is about to go after everything, and the TARDIS is acting silly. She starts playing a song for her, because she doesn't want her to go yet.

I can’t think of what it should be, though, as I don’t know (I don't know enough songs in general) of any songs that reference Shakespeare--because of that sonnet written for her in The Shakespeare Code--or really suit her personality. Me And Mrs. Jones wouldn’t really work. Doctor, Doctor would just be cruel. If anyone on my friends list has any suggestions for songs the TARDIS would play for her, simply put the title (and artist, so I can look it up) in the poll.

Alternatively (to my poll suggestion): Queen - You're My Best Friend (from the TARDIS to Martha), Tom Waits - Martha, Garbage - The Trick is to Keep Breathing, Westlife - Queen of my Heart (that'd surprise the Doctor, I'm sure!), Enya - Anywhere Is, Feist - The Limit To Your Love, John Mayer - Split Screen Sadness, or The Magic Numbers - Let Somebody In.

(If you need help with listening to any of these, let me know!)

Queen of My Heart is absolutely perfect for Martha & the TARDIS, I feel... And it's always good for his ship to surprise the Doctor!

The only Shakespeare reference that comes to mind is "Kiss Me Kate" of course based off "Taming of the Shrew". "Brush up your Shakespeare" might be a little too humorous for the Tardis. "Were Thine that Special Face" is actually quite lovely. "Always True to You in my Fashion" is hysterical considering the Doctor.

And now I'm picturing the Tardis playing "Cheer Up Hamlet" from Slings and Arrows. Silly yes, but not what you're going for!

Phil Collins' Take a Look Through My Eyes (there's a better place out there somewhere).
