Fannish Items of Interest

Just recently stumbled across something Tenth Doctor related that I had managed to miss the first time around. Music of the Spheres. Going by the fact it aired in July of 2008, I would have been recovering from the bleeding ulcer, and unable to download it—with the swollen arm at the time, I was also unable to really scroll through my friends list that well for a while. Unfortunately, I couldn't find footage of the Graske running through the audience--Wikipedia mentioned that bit.

On Sunday, I’m going back to the theater where I watched the silent version (the one with John Barrymore) of Jekyll and Hyde—because they’re showing Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I haven’t seen it since someone brought it to the library for people (who were exempt from exams and didn’t have anywhere else to go) to watch, when I was in 9th grade.

The Music of the Spheres was a little cut-away they filmed to be shown at The Doctor Who Prom at the Royal Albert Hall - which Freema (along with Catherine, Camille and Noel) MC'd. (Catherine got screams of joy when she came on as she was a pre-announced presenter.)

The Graske didn't run around the audience that much - more up and down the stage where the orchestra was playing.

If you want to know more about the Prom, I posted an account of it on my LJ (check the dw prom tag)
