Recently cast in the pilot for David Tennant’s new series—Rex Is Not Your Lawyer? Jane Curtin (as Tennant’s mother) and Sendhil Ramamurthy. I’ve seen Jane Curtin in 3rd Rock From The Sun (which I only saw through TV Land marathons) and The Librarian movies.

Does anyone on my friends list watch Monk? If so, what’s your theory on why Trudy was killed? (Before the series finale airs Friday) The theories on who really killed her, over on IMDB, are just out there and insane at this point.

DUDE. David Tennant AND Sendhil Ramamurthy? I think I love whoever this casting director is. I am THERE.

Of course, this probably means they'll kill Mohinder on Heroes or something, which will suck, because Mohinder rocks. Or maybe he can just show up as a guest star every once in awhile...

I haven't seen the first two parts of the finale, or read the other comments here, but she was a journalist, wasn't she? She found out something she Wasn't Supposed To Know, perhaps without realizing.

That's right, from everything that's been implied. Whatever it was she found out is going to be revealed in part 2. And I won't spoil you for part 1, since you haven't seen it yet.

I have yet to catch up on this season of Monk, but I've always had a theory that the bomb was meant for Adrian. I remember his brother saying something about he'd called Adrian to bring him some cough medicine but Adrian wasn't home so Trudy was going to bring it to him instead and was on her way there (eventually) when the bombing happened. Why, though, has never gelled in my mind.

You're too young to remember Jane Curtin from Saturday Night Live or Kate and Ally, but she's always been a really funny actress (not wild about her choice of shows to be in, but hey --- work is work, I guess).
