Reportedly, Fox is going to be making an American version of Torchwood. I think I can say that bad idea doesn’t begin to cover it. And it would likely be cancelled within three episodes, knowing that channel. Let’s not even comment on the idea of redoing Doctor Who, since we all know how well that one went in 1996.
It’s confirmed: Marc Webb is signed on to be the new director for Spider-Man. And if this rumor is true, then Peter Parker might end up being played by Taylor Lautner. I doubt it's true, but it’s still a horrible thought. I have no idea who would actually work in the role.

help_haiti auction ended at 11 AM CST, sykira had won me for $10.
Did anyone else know that MTV apparently started showing reruns of Buffy? At 10 AM CST--today was Dead Man’s Party, from season 3. I spotted it thanks to TV Guide Channel.
And, lastly, a meme:
What's surprised you the most about me (if anything) since beginning to read my LJ (or when you met me IRL, for those who have)? Has anything about me been completely unexpected or have I always fit the picture of me you had in your head?

That's one of the most random things I've ever heard. Not that they ever play music anymore, but where does Buffy fit in with all the reality shows?

I have no idea. They just randomly stuck it in there to see if anyone would notice? I don't know. If the listings hadn't mentioned it on TV Guide Channel, I never would have known, since I've never cared for MTV.
