Well, Isn't That Weird...

It looks as though someone out there finally snapped because of all the snow on our road. Somehow, someone on this street got hold of a giant plow--it really doesn't look like it's someone that regularly does this sort of thing, either. He's going up and down the street, in a desperate bid to get the snow off the road. He stops at one end, revs his engine in fury, and starts again.

It's not all the streets in the area. Just ours that he seems to be working on. Sure he's getting the snow off, but not the ice.

ETA: And here he comes again, for the fifth time. You've got to admire his persistence. He won't rest until he scrapes it all off.

Send him over to Nashville. We could use that plow in my subdivision.

Sounds like a man on a mission. Maybe offer him some hot chocolate and he'll keep your drive free of snow too.

That's kind of nice of him, actually. Around my parts, we've got people who travel with a chain saw in the back of their pick-ups all winter long to chop up the trees that fall into the roadway during rainy season, which are many --- and that's not counting the mudslides. Those people are usually a little odd, now that you mention it.

People can be great sometimes.
