RIP, Frances Reid
Frances Reid passed away yesterday, at the age of 95. She had struggled with Alzheimer’s and other health issues for quite some time, going by everything I had been reading. She is probably best known as Alice Horton, from Days Of Our Lives. She had been with the show since the very first episode aired on November 8, 1965. The last time she was able to appear on the show was December 26, 2007.
She was a wonderful woman, and she will be sorely missed. May she rest in peace. Alice Horton was famous for her wonderful donuts in life--may they never miss an ingredient or go stale with her death.
So far, I haven’t been able to find many articles about her death—just some Tweets from the cast, viadaysofourlives.
