From Cracked: 8 Amazing Stories of Ninja Failure.
Behold: The Hello Kitty Chainsaw. I doubt it’s real, but it’s still weird enough.
10 Incredibly Unnecessary Horror Movie Sequels.
Matt Smith was turned down for the role of Watson in Moffat’s Sherlock series, before he was cast as the Doctor. Going by what I’ve seen of him in other things, that was definitely the right choice. As Moffat even says in that article, he’s more the Holmes type than the Watson type.
The cause of death for Brittany Murphy has finally been released. It was a mix of things that took her down—she had community acquired pneumonia, severe anemia from not eating enough iron rich foods which weakened her more, and over the counter medications (one with cough syrup and the other was for cramps) that interacted badly with each other, caused strain on her already weakened system, and then she died—with the pneumonia being declared the main cause.
The first two I definitely know something about, since I should have died of a mix of severe anemia (understatement—they were amazed I wasn’t dead, since they had never seen someone that low on blood outside a car accident) and double pneumonia 6 years ago, and it’s why I’ll be taking iron and a multivitamin for the rest of my life. My iron level back then was 2.0--these days, it's around 15.1.
And looks like we’re due for another snowstorm or three. One tomorrow, one Tuesday, and one on the 14th.
