Was The Location On Highlander?

I’m begging the Highlander fans on my friends list for help. On last night’s episode of The Amazing Race, one of the places they had to depart from was in France. The location was Les Monthairons, Lorraine, France. And the mansion or whatever it was looked exactly like something I had seen in an episode of Highlander: The Series. Maybe Till Death, with Robert and Gina’s mansion. Maybe something from season 1. Maybe the episode with Fitz in a flashback during season 6. I don’t know. I was planning to download all the episodes it could be, just to compare them and see.

First, though, I'm asking my friends list.

I haven’t been able to find any listing of where they filmed episodes of Highlander. All I’m sure of is they’ve filmed in France before. Through Wikipedia, I did find out the location, though. It’s called Château des Monthairons. Does anyone know if an episode was filmed around there? And if not, where have I seen that place before?

ETA: Watching through the episode, I see that it wasn't Unusual Suspects with the château--the one that was on Amazing Race didn't have a moat.

I'm going to guess Robert and Gina's mansion (which was the same one with the flashback of Fitz, right?) or the Watcher Headquarters, where MacLeod and Methos had to rescue Joe. But i seem to remember Robert and Gina's place being a bit more of a white color, if that makes sense.

Or maybe where the crazy lady from 'Chivalry' lived when she was having MacLeod's portrait painted?

In fact, looking at some of the pictures of the river that Chateau des Monthairons has on their site, i'm now leaning towards the castle from 'Chivalry.'
