Captain America has been cast—Chris Evans will play the role. I gave it a few days before I posted it just in case it changed, due to all the rumors I’ve seen floating around. I’ve never seen him in anything, so I don’t know if this is good news or bad news. I avoided the Fantastic Four movies with him, because I don’t care for Jessica Alba. That, and I’m not really a Fantastic Four fan.

On the subject of Revenant--I’m having a huge amount of fun when it comes to writing Selene possessed Meggan. I’ve also learned that the stranger ideas (little things, actually) apparently strike at midnight, while I’m sound asleep, during a thunderstorm. Nice way to set the mood, I guess. Hey, at least I can remember them until morning. *looks at icon I'm using* Never has my icon seemed quite so appropriate to the situation.

Oh, Kate and I might have come up with an idea for a short interlude log, where you get more possessed Meg. Hopefully she'll remember to ping you. ;)

Oh, good! I'll keep an eye out for that.

And poor kid--she'll have so much guilt after all this. And to add just one more thing on top of everything else, I'm thinking she was wearing that bracelet with a monkey on it that Amanda got her for her birthday (been digging through logs to make sure of when--for 5 minutes, I remembered it as a necklace) a couple years back.

When Selene took over, she thought it was disgustingly chipper--maybe also because it was from Amanda, which she'd learn after rummaging through Meggan's memories--and it was tossed aside with her clothes when she got that outfit. So now it's lost, unless someone actually wants to go back there.

And digging through a Carey Mulligan gallery earlier, I spotted this picture, in addition to those other two I linked to a while back. Doesn't that just look like Meggan while possessed, plotting something?

Ooh, most definitely Plotting. While trying to seem all cute and innocent. Emphasis on the trying - it's almost like Selene's making the most of Meg's looks there.

I thought the same thing. I keep thinking that's probably the look she had when she refused to turn around when she took over Meggan on the staircase. Just...waiting in anticipation.

I'm not much of a Fantastic Four (or superhero comics) fan either, but I watched it just for the novelty of seeing Ioan Gruffudd trying to play an American. OMG SO BAD.
