You can see a couple of screencaps from the live action Blue Beetle screen test over here. The costume actually looks rather nice. Over at Topless Robot, someone in the comments said he looked a little like something from Big Bad Beetleborgs. Couldn’t get the theme song out of my head for a little while.

Behold the sequel to Manos: The Hands of Fate. It’s fan made, and apparently will star Debbie—the little girl from the original. I don’t really know how to react to this, especially after watching the four minute preview.

A new clip from the finale of Doctor Who has just been released. Looks good so far.

Is the thing next to the Second Doctor--holding the heart--a Yeti? I've never seen the episodes with him, so I'm not sure. I love the Adipose around the Tenth Doctor.

Yep, it's a Yeti, although I'm pretty sure they didn't give out Valentines in their actual appearances. ;)

It would have made for an interesting and odd episode if it had.

From the Wiki: "The sound effect of a Yeti's roar is created by slowing down the sound of a flushing toilet."

And that alone makes me want to download the episode, just to mock it relentlessly. Although, since I did download The Five Doctors at one point, I must have spotted them and just not realized what they were.

I love how grumpy the Ninth Owl looks. And how insane (and quite possibly hyper from too much coffee and tea combined) the Tenth one looks.

The production values are way too high. They need to film it in with a crappy 1M pixel web cam to best simulate the "Every scene looks like someone's last known photo" graininess of the original. Also: Less choreography, less dialogue, and less things happening. *is a very tough critic* :P

And then in post-production, have all the voices done by the same three people. And long, pointless and seemingly unending shots of passing scenery out a window of a car.
