A Few Fannish Items--Plus The Heat

Thanks to someone finding a copy of Action Comics #1 in the basement, one family’s house has been saved from foreclosure.

The 8 Eeriest Episodes of Eerie, Indiana. I loved that show.

Fake Stan Lee met Real Stan Lee at Comic Con this year. Watch it here.

The heat index was actually 122 degrees yesterday. Currently, the heat index is 113 degrees. From 3 PM-6PM, it should be 115-120 degrees. We’ll get the official final numbers when the news comes on later. My brain’s likely cooking.

How much is 122 in celcius?

gwuh! Have fun. Try having that heat almost all summer with no air conditioning. Well, the weather down my way usually hits 46 nowadays during summer...

Thought of you when they reported on my news radio station on the heat in the Midwest. Try to stay at least hydrated.

Right there with you. I had to go out today and it was miserable.

Ugh. That's not fun - it hit 47C here in the shade last February and that's without any kind of heat indexing added.
