RIP, Tom Bosley

Tom Bosley has passed away, at the age of 83. For a while there, every news show I watched yesterday told a different cause of death—so it was either following a battle with lung cancer, or heart failure, or a staph infection, or a mix of the three. He was perhaps most famous for being the father on Happy Days.

He will be missed. Rest in peace, Mr. Cunningham.

For children of the 80’s, he was also the voice of David the Gnome. According to IMDB, besides those two, he was in Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night. A movie very few are likely to remember.

David the Gnome is my entire childhood. ;~; David the Gnome and dinosaurs. And now both are dead. /terrible person

He will indeed be missed. I'm so going to find and rewatch that show in his honor.

I was always so glad I never saw that one as a kid. D: Finally watching the whole thing in proper order I fully expect the show to destroy me, but I am okay with this.

Also I am amazed at how much of the opening theme I still know from memory.
