I'd be sending two people, actually: Alyson Hannigan and David Tennant. If the utter geekish glee and horrifying levels of adorable emanating from those two doesn't foil any possibly dastardly schemes to annihilate the human race, then nothing will.
However, if there's a chance that they will be eaten, send Paris Hilton first. To Serve Man, and all that. When the aliens are full and satisified, then bring in the ambassadors and get down to the peace talks.seandc said it would be empty calories, but hey--better than nothing.
