Fannish Items, Partly Yuletide Related

The most ridiculous cases of product placement on Days of Our Lives.

Jewel Staite answers a few questions from fans.

Yuletide related: In the fandoms I’m offering, I replaced Curse of the Fatal Death with Indiana Jones. I replaced the Buffy movie with Real Ghostbusters, after I realized there is no way I can fix the Buffy movie, without accidentally veering off into the series.

So now my list of offered fandoms for Yuletide is: Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, Dracula: Dead And Loving It, Fright Night, Shrek, The Addams Family movie, Dark Shadows (1991), Pushing Daisies, Real Ghostbusters, and Indiana Jones. With the Bucket List section, I stuck in The Librarian series of movies.

I mainly went back into the form because I finally thought of a fourth request. I’ve edited my Dear Yuletide letter with that one--a request for something from the 60’s version of Dark Shadows. Barnabas learning how to drive after getting out of his coffin.

LOL...on the product placements on Days. They do really lame things to send the kids away so the grownups can talk, too. My brother and I were watching once, and Bo suggested to Sean (I think) to go collect some rocks so he and Hope could talk. It was delivered so badly that we laughed and laughed. Now, whenever we see an obvious reason for someone to leave a scene...we crack up and say...go collect some rocks. Soap operas are so funny!
