RIP, Leslie Nielson

Leslie Nielson has passed away at the age of 84. He was in the hospital, being treated for pneumonia and passed away from complications. May he rest in peace. That was the first time I ever saw anything with him in it, given that I’ve never been interested in watching The Naked Gun or its sequels. Those that watched The Golden Girls might remember him from the final couple of episodes, when he married Dorothy. Around the time I was in middle school, I loved him in both Repossessed and Dracula: Dead And Loving It. Tonight, I’ll watch the latter in his honor.

Here he is on Due South. I’ve never seen the show before, but that scene makes me interested in watching.

I leave you with Nielson as Dracula, trying to get the last word. And the moment when Dracula was having a daymare. Sit through the end credits of the movie, and over the production company logo you’ll hear him say one last thing and laugh.

Leslie Nielson was great on Due South, especially his episode in the first season (Which I think is the one you linked to, my internet is so sucky right now youtube keeps crashing). Due South is a fun show and it has a wolf (well, half wolf- see icon) that has a canonical love of donuts!
