RIP, Irvin Kershner And Mario Monicelli
Irvin Kershner passed away at the age of 87, following a long illness. He was perhaps best known as the director of The Empire Strikes Back, as well as The Eyes Of Laura Mars. May he rest in peace.
And then a few minutes ago, I heard that Mario Monicelli passed away at the age of 95. He was an Italian director and screenwriter. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and committed suicide a few days after being admitted to the hospital, by jumping from a fifth story window. May he rest in peace.
So that’s news of Leslie Nielson, Irvin Kershner, and Mario Monicelli passing away all in one day.
