Some details of the Wonder Woman pilot have been leaked. So she’s now the CEO of a company, pining for Steve Trevor “like Carrie for Mr. Big,” singing show tunes along with the radio, being goofy, wacky and awkward? Um, no. Like I said before I even knew this bit, I think I’ll sit this one out. Please, please don't let a dancing baby ever pop up on this show.

The Cape has been cut back from an episode order of 13 episodes, to 10 episodes, due to low ratings. whedonesque discusses it here.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in talks to join The Dark Knight Rises. No word on what character he would end up playing.

SFX has Before They Were Famous. There’s Ryan Gosling in Young Hercules, Heath Ledger in Roar, Amy Adams in Smallville, Carey Mulligan and Andrew Garfield in Doctor Who, and others.

Peter Jackson has left the hospital, and will continue his recovery at home.

Casting has begun for the Dark Shadows movie. Reportedly, Bella Heathcote is in talks to play Victoria Winters, while Jackie Earle Healey could be playing Willie Loomis. Victoria is now a waitress, rather than a governess.

So with Dark Shadows, they're making two characters into one? Or they're just changing and focusing on things in a different way?

Weird. I've only seen 30 episodes of the show, but still.

Given what I understand of it so far, I'm guessing they've combined the characteristics of the two characters, and removed Maggie entirely. Since it was originally Maggie (who at first, was a snarky waitress until Barnabas broke her) that Barnabas went after, before briefly having a fling with Victoria in the original series.

And then Victoria ran away with her new boyfriend, into the past.

Back in the mid 90's, when the Sci-Fi Channel had marathons of it, I got hooked.

I've been watching it on DVDs from the library. I need to figure out how to request additional titles be added to the library's collection as they seem to have Collections 1, 2, and 11. I'm not quite sure why, and I'd really like to watch the episodes in order.

There are two separate collections, just so you know what to look out for.

From Wikipedia:

"Episodes 210–1245 (Barnabas' arrival through to the end of the series) have been released on DVD in 26 Collections from 2002 through 2006. Episodes 1–209 were released in 2007 under the title of Dark Shadows: The Beginning."

So to watch them in order, look for the latter first.
