My Cat's Health
The minute my dad got home the cat was fine. She's been running around, and being very happy. She acts like she isn't sick at all, and has been playing. So that probably proves the theory that she was acting out because she missed him. And this morning she was extremely happy and meowing. :)
For the last two days, however, whenever you walk outside, you could smell bug spray coming from somewhere. I think that might have been part of the cat's problem, but I'm not sure.
In other news, the neighbor's dog inadvertently killed a bird. He kept chasing a robin around the yard. He tried to bite it, so it flew to a nearby powerline to get away. There was a loud pop, the bird was electrocuted, and fell head first about 30 feet to the ground. It was dead. That was surprising to see.
ETA: Some good news. A relative who came to visit from another state, brought me 3 huge cases of Shasta Cream Soda, and two 2-liter bottles of it. Yay! He knows I like it, and it isn't available where I live. He went to a lot of different stores before he finally found it in Illinois. :)
While out of town, my dad finally found Slice. It is an orange soda that I haven't seen anywhere since I was little.
