Gulliver McGrath will play David Collins in the Dark Shadows movie. When I heard that Chloe Moretz had been cast as Carolyn Stoddard, I assumed it was an April Fool’s joke. It seems to be true, though. Carolyn’s character was 18 or 19 when the series started, so Moretz will be the youngest incarnation of her, at the age of 14.

IDW is planning to launch a monthly Ghostbusters comic.

An April Fool’s joke that was actually interesting was that Alfred Hitchcock had been resurrected as a zombie so that he could direct a movie version of The Walking Dead. I don't know how I feel about the DS remake. Yes, the show was campy and they certainly didn't have the ability for special effects the way they do now. But some of those actors were incredibly talented. Grayson Hall, Joan Bennet, Jonathan Frid, David Selby, Lara Parker, Kathryn Leigh Scott. They were able to pay multiple characters and they did it well and believably. The remake in the 1990s just fell flat.
