The Pierly-Redford Disassociative Affect Diagnostic

Your Diagnosis:

Thoughtful to the extreme, you are often obsessed with perfection and the rules governing your own personal interests. Your world is black and white. You love to work within a logical system, such as language, computer programming, or mathematics. Manipulating a system that can be completely understood is a distinct pleasure to you, because of your confidence in the underlying veracity of your belief system. Because of your appreciation for logic and order, those who speak or think in a sloppy manner are apt to generate more than their share of wrath. Although very amiable, you are not drawn to friendships out of a sense of personal need. You are just as happy by yourself with a good book or puzzle. Because you are so involved with thought, you will on occasion have difficulty dealing with the day-to-day problems of a normal life. Taking out the trash, doing the dishes, these are often left until the last possible moment, if at all.

The test is located here.

A lot of that is accurate. Some statements, like the world being black or white alone, is not--and I believe I can safely say that I have never left the dishes to grow mold. As a general rule, I don’t wait until the last minute, I get things out of the way as soon as I’m able to.

I'm a bookaholic, and proud of it, so good to see that in the result.

As [livejournal.com profile] tywyllwch pointed out, some of the questions are oddly disturbing. Which shape can hear me breathing? Which shape can control my mind?

ETA: And just as a note, to anyone clicking the link. The site uses flash, which could cause problems if you're already suffering a headache and/or the beginnings of a migraine...or possibly if you suffer from seizures. Just keep that mind before you go there.

The questions I got through were pretty WTF but I gave up because the flashing was starting to bug me. They need to put a siezure warning on that thing.

You'd think there'd be a splash page or something on the site itself.

I thought all the weirdness was pretty entertaining, actually. :)

This site is intriquing me in a 'this might be a clue for an ARG' way. Email them if you want to have more tests in a time and place of their choosing? Where did you find this, if I might ask?

Hmm, my diagnosis ended with "Emotions are fleeting and commonly used as tactics." Which, personally I find true, and hilarious at the same time. it was the only part of my test result that was accurate to me.

I found the entire test confusing. I kept wondering why most of these questions had visual answers instead of a simple yes/no answer. It made no sense whatsoever and was rather irritating. They are shapes. Neither of them can hear me breathing, none of them can possibly be me, none of them are angry or feel any other sort fo emotion, to me or otherwise...

And how either shape can answer the question of whether or not there is a voice in my head...well, that is completely illogical.
