X-Men: First Class
I just returned from seeing X-Men: First Class. Without spoiling anything, (although there may be spoilers in the comments) I think I loved it. When it was over, nobody left their seats, just in case there was an extra scene after the credits. There wasn't.
I left for the theater around 12:15 PM--the movie started at 12:55. I was stuck at one red light for 17 minutes. (It's been weird since the weather that accompanied the tornado shorted something in it--takes longer to cycle through) Hit another one, which lasted 6 minutes. Got to the theater around 12:44, and had a brief issue with the tickets. Dad got them Monday, and between then and today they switched it from theater 1 to theater 11. They were confused, we were confused and we explained. The manager finally realized what happened after wandering over, and let us in, saying it was all his fault and he was sorry. Made it in around 12:50. 5 minutes to spare!
Oddly, I do not have any icons of Professor Xavier or Magneto. I must have deleted them a while back to make room for more.

It's not anywhere near as horrible as X3 to me. I had the same reaction as you to that. Mainly saying "I'm so sorry, it's not usually that bad, that wasn't Phoenix," repeatedly after X3 since Dad wanted to see it with me. Gave him an unwanted crash course on Dark Phoenix on the way home.
This time, we agreed that while it was a little over the two hour mark, it didn't feel like it, and it was good.

I am hoping that since I don't actually know that much canon from the beginning days that I won't sit there and well on it as much. I always twitch over characters being in entirely the wrong time period like Havok and Angel. (How do you justify the younger Summers being around before the elder Summers?) The time period twitching has been there since the beginning with Rogue & Wolverine showing up together, though, so maybe I'm used to it at least.
