Solved--Halfway!

It's definitely an issue with Comcast that's blocking CliqueClack, Demonoid, Insanejournal, and That Guy With The Glasses. I had an idea when Comcast was briefly not working. I switched over to Paducah Online's dial-up, and went to each site--through there, I get to them fine. Turn that off, and try Comcast once it was working again, and I can't. But at least I have a way of getting around it!

Could be a routing error, in which case it should resolve itself within thirty-six hours. But if that's the case, it's the kind of thing you can do nothing about. :-( If it weren't just Comcast, I'd suggest malware, but I can't think why malware would pick those particular for sites to cause a problem with--usually it goes for the ones that will allow you to clean up your computer.

To test and see if it's a routing problem, type the following in any browser:

http://67.228.5.228

That's the IP address for InsaneJournal. If it takes you to the website, it's definitely a routing problem. If it doesn't, I'm out of clever ideas.
