Sad News...
I'm glad I got today's birthday wishes out of the way yesterday.
Last night, around 9:15 PM, my grandmother passed away. She had had Alzheimer's for the past 5 years. For the past 4 months, she had been bedfast and unable to move or speak. Although, at times she had been able to communicate through blinking. She was finally moved to a nursing home, since my dad couldn't take care of her anymore. She had been there probably for a month, maybe less.
I might not be posting as much in this journal for the next couple of days. Visitation is either tomorrow or the next day, depending on when out-of-town relatives can get here. The funeral will then be the day after that.

Livejournal posted your post twice, but it didn't e-mail me either entry. Odd.
