X-Men: Days of Future Past
I went to see Days of Future Past by myself yesterday afternoon, at the 1:15 PM 2D Digital showing. Or, rather, 1:45, due to 30 minutes of previews, and random commercials.
Due to a particularly urgent need, (four glasses of tea before going since it was 90 degrees, you figure it out) I left the minute the end credits began. I already knew the gist of what happened in the end credits scene, and I located a low quality version of it a couple hours ago on Youtube.
Without spoiling (spoilers are welcome in the comments, though) anything, I will say that I loved it.

I enjoyed First Class, but I think the franchise is so ingrained in my childhood that I'll never be really satisfied with these adaptations. It was the first comic series and real story line I ever followed. Rogue and Gambit were my first star-crossed lovers. And after Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gambit/Bobby Drake was some of the first fic I read.

I haven't been able to find any LJ comms dedicated to it. :(

(And due to my continual sheer loathing for Halle Berry as Storm, I actually applauded when her future self was killed. Even if I did hear rumors of it happening in advance, I was thrilled to see that.)
I don't think I know of any active X-Men groups here on Livejournal or on Dreamwidth. I left the ones that appeared dead here on LJ a while back.

Times like this I wish LJ were not so dead. Where on earth do X-men fans hang out now?? I wonder if there's a comm on Reddit.

A quick search on Dreamwidth turned up a Kink Meme (which includes a reaction post) devoted to Days of Future Past. But I don't see any regular, active groups devoted to general discussion of the film.
