Rest In Peace, Humbert Allen Astredo

Humbert Allen Astredo passed away on February 19th, at the age of 86. May he rest in peace. To fans of the original version of Dark Shadows, he will be best remembered as Nicholas Blair. That warlock was one of my favorite characters on the show; Astredo also played Charles Dawson, as well as Evan Hanley during his time on the series. He appeared in House of Dark Shadows as Dr. Forbes.

I know it's inevitable, but every time a childhood icon dies a little piece of me dies, too. I'm 54 so I'm getting up there as well and it makes me start thinking.
